Communications Policy

Effective

Version

This policy outlines the communication channels routed through the Syntax Voice platform. We operate as a platform provider (the Processor) for businesses communicating with their customers, and as a direct sender to our own account holders.

01 / Strict Separation of SMS Programs (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

To maintain strict compliance with carrier regulations, Syntax Voice isolates its text messaging programs. Consent given for one program is never shared with, or interpreted to cover, another.

For detailed SMS terms, opt-out instructions, and privacy guarantees, please refer directly to the dedicated program pages:

  • For business-to-customer messaging. If you received a message from a business using our software to route their calls, this is governed by our Platform Messaging Safeguards.
  • For Syntax Voice account holders. If you are a platform user receiving system alerts such as billing or missed-call notifications, this is governed by our Account Notification Messaging Terms.

02 / Phone Calls and Voice

When you call a business that uses Syntax Voice, the assistant answers in the business’s name using a synthetic voice.

  • Disclosures. Fixed platform sentences, such as AI disclosures or call-recording notices, are spoken before any custom greeting, as configured by the business to meet their local jurisdictional requirements.
  • Opting out. You may hang up at any time. For outbound calls initiated by a business, you must ask the business directly to place you on their internal do-not-call list.

03 / Email Communications

Syntax Voice sends transactional service emails to our account holders: verification codes, reset links, call summaries, and billing notices.

  • We do not send marketing or promotional email blasts.
  • You may use the unsubscribe link provided in our emails, or contact hello@syntaxvoice.com for operational alerts that lack a direct unsubscribe mechanism.

04 / Web Chat

A business may deploy our web chat widget on their own website. A contact record and message thread are created when you initiate a chat. The business is responsible for providing their own privacy notice on their website prior to your engagement.

05 / Business Obligations

The business determines the use case

When a business utilizes this platform to reach its customers, the business exclusively determines the audience, purpose, and legal basis for the communication.

The business represents and warrants that it has obtained all necessary prior express consents, honors opt-outs globally, and complies with all applicable regulations, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and the CTIA Messaging Principles. Its obligations to us are set out in the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms of Service.
