This policy governs your use of the Syntax Voice platform across all channels. It applies to you, your authorized users, your sub-accounts, and your end users. We may immediately suspend any account, campaign, or number that violates these terms without prior notice.

01 / Prohibited Content

You may not use the Services to generate, transmit, or store:

  • Unlawful or harmful material. Child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance, immediately reported), threats, harassment, doxxing, terrorist content, hate speech, defamation, or intellectual property infringement.
  • Fraud. Phishing, credential harvesting, impersonation, or deceptive commercial schemes.
  • Malware. Viruses, ransomware, exploit kits, or command-and-control infrastructure.
  • Restricted categories. Cannabis and CBD products are prohibited entirely on US messaging. Prescription drugs, high-risk financial services, gambling, and S.H.A.F.T. content (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco) require prior written approval and strict legal compliance.

02 / Telecommunications and Messaging Abuse

  • Spam and bulk messaging. You may not send unsolicited messages without prior express consent, use purchased or scraped lists, or use “snowshoe” traffic to evade volume thresholds.
  • Filtering evasion. You may not misspell words, use rotating domains, or cycle phone numbers specifically to bypass carrier filtering.
  • Fraudulent traffic. You may not facilitate SMS pumping or artificially inflated traffic, toll fraud, “wangiri” calls, or traffic pumping. You must protect your web endpoints with rate limiting and bot mitigation.
  • Caller ID. You must own or be authorized to use any caller ID you display. Neighbor spoofing is prohibited.
  • Robocalling. You may not place artificial or prerecorded voice calls without TCPA-compliant written consent, nor may you call Do Not Call registries or emergency lines.
  • Transparency. You must accurately identify your business and configure legally required AI disclosures and recording notices.

04 / Service Integrity and Data Safeguards

  • Infrastructure. You may not circumvent rate limits, conduct unauthorized penetration testing, reverse engineer the platform, share credentials, or launch denial-of-service attacks.
  • Data restrictions. You may not submit Protected Health Information without an executed Business Associate Agreement. Payment card data, regulated biometrics, and children’s data are strictly prohibited.
  • Enforcement. We may throttle traffic, suspend accounts, or terminate agreements for violations. You are financially responsible for any carrier fines or surcharges resulting from your abusive traffic.
