01 / Program Overview
Program name: Syntax Voice Messaging. Syntax Voice provides an AI phone assistant to businesses (each, a “Business”). When a person calls a Business that uses Syntax Voice, and that caller asks for information to be sent by text or otherwise agrees during the call, Syntax Voice sends a one-to-one text message to the caller on the Business’s behalf. Messages are transactional and customer-service oriented — for example, business hours, an address, an appointment confirmation, or a missed-call follow-up.
This program is available to callers in the United States. You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number, and at least the age of majority in your state, to consent to receive messages.
02 / Consent & Opt-In
Consent is obtained verbally, during a phone call. When you call a Business and ask for details to be texted to you (or otherwise agree to receive a text), the assistant asks for your explicit permission before sending anything. A message is sent only after you clearly agree, and your consent is recorded against the phone number you are calling from, with a timestamp.
We do not obtain consent through website forms, purchased or rented lists, or any third party, and consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase. Your consent, and the mobile number associated with it, are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
03 / Message Types & Frequency
The messages you may receive include, depending on your interaction with the Business:
- Requested business information, such as hours, address, or services.
- Appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Opt-in and consent confirmations.
- Missed-call follow-ups and service or status updates.
Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with the Business. Most texts are sent in direct response to a call you placed; you will not receive recurring messages unless your interaction warrants a follow-up.
04 / Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to any messages you send or receive. Syntax Voice and the Business do not charge you for these messages, but your carrier may. Check your plan for details.
05 / Opt-Out (STOP) & Help (HELP)
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message (STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT are all honored). You will be unsubscribed immediately and will not receive further messages for that number unless you opt in again on a future call.
For help, reply HELP (or INFO) to any message, or contact the Business directly. HELP replies direct you back to the Business for support.
06 / Delivery & Carrier Liability
Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Syntax Voice is not responsible for messages that a carrier delays, filters, or fails to deliver.
07 / Privacy
Information collected in connection with this messaging program — including your mobile number, consent record, and message content — is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing, and are not sold.
