Syntax Voice ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Syntax Voice AI phone receptionist platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, phone number, and billing information. This is necessary to provide and manage your subscription.
When calls are handled by our AI receptionist on your behalf, we process caller phone numbers, call duration, call recordings (if enabled), transcripts generated from speech recognition, and AI-generated summaries of call content.
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our dashboard, including pages visited, features used, and device/browser information.
Our AI receptionist can be configured to record calls. When recording is enabled, callers are informed at the start of the call. You are responsible for ensuring call recording complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including one-party or two-party consent requirements.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for 90 days by default, configurable in your account settings. After account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Syntax Voice is not HIPAA-compliant. Our AI receptionist must not be used to collect, store, or process protected health information (PHI). If you operate in healthcare, you are responsible for configuring your agent to avoid collecting clinical health information.
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
